The Challenge
Over the years I had built a stack of CRMs for real businesses: charter operations, agency client work, field sales, publishing ad sales, fuel dispatch, claims, investor relations, and more. Each one solved a narrow problem well, and each one sat in a private repo earning nothing after the engagement ended. WhiteCRMs is the storefront for that shelf. Sell the workflows white-label, sell full custom builds on top of them, and do it without inventing a single fake customer, review, or delivery promise.
The hard part was honesty at scale. Fourteen products, five solution families, USD and GBP pricing, and a buyer who has to understand exactly what is scoped, what is quote-only, and what a demo is and is not. The site had to be crawlable, accessible, and fast, and it had to say plainly that every demo record is fictional.
The Build
Astro 7 with Tailwind 4, static output on Netlify. Every product got a real interactive demo, not a screenshot: a departure planner for charter, a pipeline for sales, a territory route for field reps, an editorial studio for agencies, a flatplan for publishers, a dispatch console for fuel, a reconciliation register for ledger work. Each workspace has its own palette, typography, and composition. Records live in tab memory and reset on reload, so nobody mistakes a demo for a production account.
The marketing layer follows a Figma reference: Archivo Black headings, Public Sans body, one acid accent on black and white. A three-question CRM finder, a branding preview for the white-label offer, and a sticky action strip on every product page carry the buyer to an enquiry. The enquiry is an editable email draft the visitor reviews and sends themselves. There is no backend, no payment capture, and no third-party form handler holding the lead. Analytics is consent-gated GA4 that never loads on enquiry or demo pages, behind a strict Content Security Policy.
Before launch the whole thing went through a prelaunch audit: axe-core across all 65 pages at two viewports plus 34 interactive states, keyboard traversal with the sticky bar in the way, text-spacing and reflow at 320px, Lighthouse on five routes, an npm audit, and a structured-data pass. Everything it reproduced got fixed. The accessibility page on the site says exactly what automated testing does and does not prove.
The Result
whitecrms.com is live, indexable, and clean. Desktop Lighthouse scores 100 across performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO. Mobile performance sits at 96 on the home page with zero total blocking time. Zero automated accessibility violations remain, and the production dependency audit reports zero vulnerabilities.
Research started on the 18th. The launch-ready build, the audit, and the analytics wiring were committed on the 19th. Fourteen products, 397 catalogued capabilities, and a buying journey with no invented numbers in it. The shelf is open.
